In the 1970s, as France entered a new era, he became “MR. PAUL“ : a name, a brand, an authority. Around its tables mingle the most influential figures in the country — artists, politicians, sports and television stars.

But behind the lights, another reality exists.

In the shadow of his restaurants, the men of the Lyon underworld observe, respect… and invite themselves to the table of power.

The 1990s. In a city marked by working class and traditions, 16-year-old Abdel dreams of another life: becoming a DJ and making crowds vibrate.

A self-taught musician, he started out in the shadows, between his bedroom and neighborhood parties. But everything changed the day he discovered THE GARAGE, an aging nightclub, on the verge of disappearing.

Fascinated by the world of the night, he understands that this is where everything can begin.

Through sheer determination and talent, Abdel manages to carve out a place for himself behind the turntables. He gradually imposes his style, modernizes the club's sound, and attracts a new generation, transforming THE GARAGE an unmissable location.

But with success come excesses.

Endless nights, excess, rivalries, drugs, intense relationships… Abdel plunges into a world where everything is faster, stronger, further.

Between family pressure, a fragile love, and a meteoric rise, he will have to face a choice:

to remain true to one's roots... or to lose oneself in the light.
